Carolyn helped me sell my father's house in Santa Rosa, CA, while I live in another state. She took on many extra tasks involved with keeping the house in order while it was on the market, then meeting and admitting all the inspectors and, later, workmen who had to come to the house and bring it into compliance with the demands of inspectors. She has good contacts locally and helped find workmen to do work at a better price than the initial people proposed.
When the sale went sideways due to lender problems, she really kept on the pressure, checking with the powers that be and pushing to get the transaction finalized. She was the captain of the ship as far as this house sale, and I think it may have taken many months more if she had not been the person on duty. And somehow she always managed to remain of good cheer.
